Our fresh buttercream frosting is the popular choice in our wedding cakes. Many designs that have a smooth finish can be done with our buttercream, some mistake it for fondant. Selecting smooth, textured or specialty piping, it is the perfect fit to complement any cake flavor you choose
Fondant is a rolled frosting that can be placed on a cake resulting in almost a porcelain finish. Our fondant is consistently thin and is always placed over our buttercream, so you still get a great tasting cake. Fondant is also frequently used to make bows, monograms, draping and swags that can be added to the cake design.
Also known as semi-naked cakes, these give such a beautifully rustic look perfect to be adorned with fresh flowers or greenery. We do get requests for the “naked” cakes but those actually do not have icing on the outer sides of the cake. Doing the semi-naked has just enough icing to seal in the moistness of the cake – who wants dry cake?
